Registration FAQ

Do I have to pre-register?

No, you do not have to pre-register. However, it will cost less to pre-register for the weekend as opposed to purchasing a full weekend badge at the door.

How do I pre-register?

You can either pre-register online here or print out a printable individual registration form or printable group registration form and send it to our Registration address, which can be found attached to the forms.

Will you have group pre-registration?

Yes we will, and this year we are giving our attendees the option to pre-register their group online OR through the mail as we have done in previous years. Group pre-registration gives a discount of $5 per person and there must be a minimum of 8 paid attendees in the group.

So is there anything different about pre-registering our group online?

Yes there is. Due to an unfortunate limitation of the system, online group pre-registration will require a minimum of 8 ADULT registrations. This means if you have a group that is 7 adults and 1 child, you will need to pre-register through the mail or find another friend who is age 13 or older who wishes to attend.

Will there be an child option for online group pre-registration?

Yes, however, any online child group registrations MUST be part of an order that includes a group of at least 8 paid adult registrations. If we find a group child registration that is not purchased at the same time as a group adult registration, we will be forced to flag the child registration(s) as invalid until the purchaser is contacted and the situation is cleared up.

If I don’t pre-register, is there a chance you will run out of memberships?

We do not foresee running out of memberships. Unless we have a very significant increase in memberships, there should be no problem with getting in if you purchase your membership at the door.

Can I pre-register for just one day?

No, we do not sell single-day memberships online. However, we do sell single-day memberships at the door

Can I pre-register online and pay at the door?

No. You have to pay for your membership when you pre-register.

How do I pay at the door if I didn’t pre-register?

At-door registration is cash only. We unfortunately are not set up to handle credit card transfers at the convention. There is an ATM available at the door.

I don’t have PayPal or a credit card. How do I pre-register?

We have a mail-in form that you can use. Print it out, fill it out and you can send a check or money order to our Registration P.O. Box which you will find attached to the form. You can pick up a money order at your local post office, bank, some convenience stores, etc. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.

Okay, I pre-registered. How do I get my badge?

You should receive a confirmation e-mail from EventBrite once you have pre-registered. Print out the confirmation and bring a photo ID to the Garden State Exhibit Center. Come up to one of our Pre-registration booths and you will be able to pick up your badge there.

I don’t have a driver’s license? How do I pick up my badge?

If you have a school ID, a town resident ID, or something with your name and your picture on it, that will be fine. However, if you do not have any form of photo ID, PLEASE remember to bring your confirmation printout. If you do not have your printout or a photo ID, we may not be able to verify your pre-registration and give you your badge.

I’m the parent/guardian of a child who is 6 or younger. What do I do in order to register them?

Contact our head of Registration and we will be able to put them into our system.

How much is registration at the door?

We will be posting those prices once online pre-registration closes.

I can’t make it this year. Can I get a refund?

If you cannot attend, contact Registration by emailing registration[AT] by June 1st. We can defer your registration until the following year or transfer your registration to someone else. If you contact us after June 1st, your deferment or transfer may not be processed. Refunds may be issued in extreme circumstances.
